Pakistan’s Army Chief, General Qamar Javed Bajwa, has emphasized the exceptional standards of professionalism and leadership within the Pakistan Army, asserting that it surpasses any modern military force in the world. He acknowledged the pivotal role played by junior leaders in both conventional and unconventional warfare.
General Bajwa made these remarks during the inauguration of a joint military exercise called “Internal Brotherhood II” involving various multinational special forces.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistan Armed Forces, General Bajwa conducted a regional tour and also visited the Junior Leadership Academy (Shinkiari) during this occasion.
He underscored that the Pakistan Army’s professionalism and leadership standards set it apart from any contemporary military force globally. General Bajwa commended the junior leadership for their training and operational achievements, stating that they have demonstrated excellence not only in Pakistan but also in various international domains.
The ISPR reported that General Bajwa received a briefing on the Special Services Group (SSG) during his visit. The SSG is an elite commando unit of the Pakistan Army, known for its extraordinary skills and abilities in counter-terrorism operations and unconventional warfare.
The primary objective of the “Internal Brotherhood II” exercise is to enhance historical military relations and military cooperation among friendly countries while learning from each other’s experiences to combat terrorism effectively.
General Bajwa’s comments highlight the Pakistan Army’s commitment to maintaining high standards of professionalism and leadership within its ranks.
