KP CM Ali Amin Gandapur vows tough action against armed disturbances.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur declared that anyone taking up arms to disturb peace would be treated as a terrorist.

During his visit to Kohat, the CM attended a Grand Jirga addressing the ongoing tensions in Kurram. He instructed law enforcement agencies to adopt a zero-tolerance policy against individuals disrupting peace.

Gandapur urged the federal government to provide Frontier Constabulary (FC) platoons to support local efforts, emphasizing the need to set aside political differences for the sake of stability. He assured that the provincial government would fully back the Grand Jirga’s mission to restore peace in the region.

Highlighting coordinated efforts by the army, police, and administration, the CM called for the collection of heavy weapons from the area, including those near border zones, to prevent further violence. He also appealed to the local community to help identify peace disruptors.

Addressing the plight of displaced residents, Gandapur stressed the urgency of releasing funds to support their resettlement and pledged the provincial government’s commitment to ensuring their dignified return.
