Punjab Information Minister Azma Bukhari has accused the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) of using fake videos to misrepresent facts and propagate false narratives.
Sharing a video of an individual falsely declared dead by the PTI’s propaganda wing, Bukhari alleged that the party was resorting to fabrications following its failed coup attempt. She stated that the PTI’s propaganda cell was spreading lies through manipulated videos and images.
Questioning the justification for such actions, Bukhari asked whether this behavior, labeled as a “fundamental right” by some so-called patriotic Pakistanis, should be tolerated. She called it a matter of shame and affirmed that strict measures would be taken against those responsible for disseminating false information.
She emphasized that creating unrest through deceitful politics would not be permitted.
