Suryakumar Yadav sidesteps Pakistan mention ahead of super four clash.

India captain Suryakumar Yadav once again avoided naming Pakistan when asked about facing them in Sunday’s Super Four clash in Dubai, following India’s 21-run win over Oman on Friday.

During the post-match presentation, Sanjay Manjrekar asked if he was ready for the high-profile match against Pakistan. Yadav, unfazed, replied with just four words: “All set for Super 4.”

The gesture was seen as a continuation of India’s dismissive stance after the previous India-Pakistan meeting, which was overshadowed by a handshake controversy. Both captains skipped the customary handshake, while Suryakumar and Shivam Dube went straight to the dressing room post-match, prompting the PCB to lodge a complaint with the ICC against on-field umpire Andy Pycroft for “not upholding the spirit of the game.”

India vs Oman: A Hard-Fought Win

  • Both fell in quick succession, ending Oman’s chase hopes.

For India, Kuldeep Yadav, Harshit Rana, Arshdeep Singh, and Hardik Pandya picked up a wicket each to seal the win.
