Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor, Faisal Karim Kundi, stated that members of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) are seeking a National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO), but they will not be granted one.
In an exclusive interview with Dunya News, Governor Kundi accused PTI members of abandoning Imran Khan in pursuit of power. He asserted that Imran Khan must face the consequences of his actions, leaving it to the courts to determine his guilt or innocence.
Kundi also remarked that if Faiz Hameed is found guilty of any wrongdoing, he would be punished by the courts, underscoring that no one, including senior officials, is above the law. He stressed that the law applies equally to all Pakistani citizens.
Highlighting a recurring trend within PTI, Kundi pointed out that party members often abandon their leaders during challenging times. He also commented on the contradictory statements given by Bushra Bibi and the Chief Minister regarding the November 26 incident, asking, “Who is the biggest liar among them?”
Regarding the call for a civil disobedience movement, Kundi dismissed it as mere rhetoric and urged the public not to take it seriously.
