PML-N Announces Candidates for National and Provincial Assemblies in Rawalpindi and Surrounding Districts

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has officially revealed its candidates for the upcoming National and Provincial Assembly elections in Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, and other adjacent districts. The notification for the distribution of tickets was issued by the Central Chairman of PML-N, Shahbaz Sharif.

For NA-50, Sahiwal, Raja Osama Sarwar has been nominated, while Raja Javed Ikhlas will be the candidate for NA-51. Raja Qamar-ul-Islam will contest from NA-52, Malik Abrar Ahmed from NA-53, Malik Abrar Ahmad from NA-55, and Haneef Abbasi from NA-56.

In addition to the National Assembly seats, PML-N has announced candidates for provincial assembly constituencies. NA-57 will see Daniyal Chaudhry as the PML-N candidate, NA-58 will have Tahir Iqbal, and NA-59 will have Sardar Ghulam Abbas.

Further candidates for other constituencies include Chaudhry Abid Raza for NA-62, Ghazfar Ali Gull for NA-63, Chaudhry Nasir Ahmed Siddhu for NA-65, Chaudhry Nasar Cheema for NA-66, Saira Afzal Tarar for NA-67, Mashaad Raza for NA-68, Naseer Iqbal Bosal for NA-69, Chaudhry Armaghan Subhani for NA-70, Khawaja Muhammad Asif for NA-71, Ali Zahid for NA-72, Noshin Iftikhar for NA-73, and Rana Shamim Ahmed Khan for NA-74.

The PML-N candidates for NA-75 include Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq, for NA-76 it is Ahsan Iqbal, for NA-77 Chaudhry Bashir Work, for NA-78 Khurram Dastgir, for NA-79 Zulfiqar Bhandar, for NA-80 Shahid Usman, for NA-81 Azhar Qayyum Nahra.

However, it’s noteworthy that PML-N has not nominated candidates for some constituencies, such as Danyal Aziz from Narowal and Chaudhry Jaffar Iqbal from Gujrat.

This announcement reflects PML-N’s strategy to field strong candidates in key constituencies, demonstrating the party’s intent to secure significant representation in both the National and Provincial Assemblies. PML-N, under Shahbaz Sharif’s leadership, aims to compete fiercely in the upcoming elections, targeting a successful electoral performance in Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, and the surrounding areas.
