While acknowledging the PSL as an emerging brand in Pakistan, Akram highlighted that the IPL has achieved worldwide recognition, surpassing the PSL in terms of popularity and reach.
When questioned about choosing between the Karachi Kings, a team where he serves as a director, and the Kolkata Knight Riders, Akram diplomatically expressed that he rates both teams equally.
