Taxi Driver Describes Final Journey
Another important element in the Mir Raza Ali murder case is the account provided by an online taxi driver who said he transported the businessman shortly before his disappearance.
The driver, Ehsanullah, told Geo News that Mir Raza booked the ride at around 3:57am. He said he accepted the booking and contacted the passenger after reaching the pickup location.
According to the driver, the ride began at approximately 4:09am. He described Mir Raza as calm during the journey and said the passenger asked him to disregard the navigation location and instead follow directions provided by him.
The driver said he eventually dropped Mir Raza near an uphill area in Gulistan-e-Jauhar.
His account could help investigators establish Mir Raza’s movements during the final hours before his death. Investigators may compare the driver’s statement with CCTV footage, mobile data and other digital evidence.
Investigation Faces Criticism
The case has also raised questions about the handling of the initial investigation.
Nasir alleged that important investigative steps were delayed, including the collection of certain digital and forensic evidence. Authorities have reportedly acknowledged that geofencing of the crime scene had not initially been conducted.

It has also gathered information about a suspected guesthouse and contacted the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency to determine whether Mir Raza may have faced threats before his death.

His father, Mir Hussain, said the family had cooperated with investigators and provided information about several locations and suspicious individuals.
