Ali Zafar condemns war, urges for peace amid rising tensions.

Ali Zafar, the celebrated singer and actor, has voiced his opposition to war and condemned those who glorify violence and conflict.

In a heartfelt post on his X (formerly Twitter) handle, Zafar expressed his distress after hearing massive explosions near his residence in Lahore.

“We just heard massive explosions from our house,” he shared with his followers.

He then directed a pointed message to those celebrating war, emphasizing the grim reality of such conflicts, particularly between nuclear-armed nations.

“To all you war-chanting, violence-celebrating, conflict-igniting people—do you really get what war between two nuclear-armed nations might entail?”

Zafar passionately criticized war, stressing that it’s far from the fictional depictions seen in films, but rather an ugly reality causing widespread destruction.

“War is destruction. Innocent lives, children, families—these are the ones who get harmed. The world needs to awaken. We need peace. Every life is precious. Every country deserves safety,” he added.

The star called on the international community to intervene and de-escalate tensions, stressing that dialogue is the only way forward.

“The only real solution is dialogue. Talk. Listen. Resolve,” he insisted.

Zafar’s call for peace resonates with many who believe in the power of conversation and diplomacy over conflict.
