Punjab government marks world autism day with major initiatives for special children.

The CM announced that the first government-run Autism School in Lahore—also the first of its kind in Pakistan—is nearing completion. The facility will include an autism diagnostic centre. Additionally, 12 autism units have already been established, and autism schools have been launched in 27 divisional public schools.

As part of broader support for special individuals, the government plans to launch an employment programme and a Rising Star Card to provide special benefits to children with autism.
