Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif extended his congratulations to Nawaf Salam on his election as the Prime Minister of Lebanon.
In a post on his X timeline, the Pakistani premier emphasized Pakistan’s strong ties with Lebanon and expressed eagerness to work with Salam to enhance bilateral cooperation.
Nawaf Salam, who also serves as the president of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) at The Hague, was elected as Lebanon’s new Prime Minister after receiving nominations from two-thirds of the country’s 128-member parliament.
