Festive pooches parade past buckingham palace in christmas sweaters.

London saw a festive gathering of furry friends on Saturday as about 130 dogs, clad in colorful Christmas sweaters, paraded past Buckingham Palace to raise funds for rescue charities.

The Christmas Jumper Parade began at St. James’s Park, continuing along the Mall, where canine participants, accompanied by their owners, showcased their holiday spirit. Highlights included dogs dressed as Santas, elves, and a standout French bulldog adorned with a red beret and a pink jacket decorated with red bows. Prizes were awarded to the best-dressed pets.

Organized by Rescue Dogs of London and Friends, the event aimed to support charities that rehome dogs from overseas.

Christmas sweater parades for pets have become a cherished tradition in London, with more events scheduled this year. Upcoming highlights include a corgi-themed parade on December 7, celebrating Queen Elizabeth II’s favorite breed, and the Hyde Park Sausage Walk for dachshunds on December 15.
