The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) recently shared images of national players participating in a rigorous fitness camp at the Army School of Physical Training (ASPT), Kakul, as part of their preparations for upcoming bilateral series and the ICC T20 World Cup.

The photos depict players engaging in various demanding drills under the watchful guidance of army trainers. Notable players such as Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, and Azam Khan are among the 29 attendees at the fitness camp in Kakul, Abbottabad.

In collaboration with the Pakistan Army, the camp has been meticulously organized to ready the players for upcoming series and tournaments, including the home T20I series against New Zealand, away fixtures against Ireland and England, and the impending ICC T20 World Cup in the USA and the West Indies.

Scheduled to conclude on April 8, the camp aims to foster team cohesion while bolstering the physical and mental resilience of the players, ensuring they are optimally prepared to confront the challenges ahead.

Under the expert guidance of seasoned trainers and coaches, the players will undergo a comprehensive training regimen tailored to enhance their fitness levels, agility, leadership skills, strategic acumen, and overall on-field performance.
