Apple Revenue Hits Record $114.5 Billion in Q4 2026

Apple Q4 2026 revenue

Apple reported record Apple Q4 2026 revenue of $114.5 billion for the fiscal quarter ended September 26, 2026, marking a 12% increase compared with the same period last year. Strong sales of iPhones, Macs and Services helped the technology giant deliver its highest quarterly revenue to date.

The company also reported diluted earnings per share of $2.10, up 14% year over year, and a gross margin of 47.9%. Apple noted that tariff refunds contributed approximately $0.05 to earnings per share and one percentage point to its gross margin.

The September quarter also marked the end of Apple’s strongest fiscal year, with total annual revenue reaching $478.8 billion, compared with $416.2 billion in fiscal 2025.

iPhone Sales Remain Apple’s Biggest Revenue Driver

The iPhone continued to dominate Apple’s business, generating $57.6 billion during the September quarter. This represented a significant increase from the $49 billion recorded in the corresponding quarter last year.

For the full fiscal year, iPhone revenue reached $254.1 billion, compared with $209.6 billion in 2025. The figures highlight the importance of Apple’s smartphone business to its overall financial performance.

The Apple Q4 2026 revenue results show that iPhone sales accounted for approximately half of the company’s quarterly net sales, making the product its largest source of income by a considerable margin.

Services maintained its position as Apple’s second-largest business category. The division generated a quarterly record of $31.6 billion, up from $28.8 billion a year earlier. Its annual revenue also increased to $123.3 billion from $109.2 billion.

Mac Revenue Increases While iPad Sales Decline

Mac revenue recorded notable growth, rising to $10.8 billion from $8.7 billion in the September quarter of 2025. For the full fiscal year, Mac sales reached $37.9 billion, compared with $33.7 billion previously.

The increase moved Mac ahead of Apple’s Wearables, Home and Accessories category, which generated $8.3 billion during the quarter, down from $9 billion a year earlier.

The decline in Wearables, Home and Accessories was also reflected in its annual performance, with revenue slipping slightly to $35.6 billion.

Meanwhile, iPad revenue decreased to $6.2 billion from $7 billion in the previous year’s quarter. Full-year iPad sales also edged down slightly to $27.9 billion.

These figures indicate that Apple’s quarterly growth was concentrated in its iPhone, Mac and Services businesses, while some other product categories experienced weaker sales.

Americas and China Lead Regional Revenue Growth

The Americas remained Apple’s largest geographical market, generating $48.7 billion during the quarter, compared with $44.2 billion in Q4 2025.

Europe was the second-largest regional contributor, with revenue increasing to $32 billion from $28.7 billion.

Greater China also delivered substantial growth. Sales in the region reached $17.5 billion, up from $14.5 billion a year earlier. The increase suggests that China remained an important contributor to Apple’s overall performance.

Revenue from the rest of Asia Pacific climbed to $9.7 billion from $8.4 billion. Japan was the only listed region to record a quarterly decline, with sales slipping slightly from $6.6 billion to $6.5 billion.

For the full fiscal year, the Americas generated $198.1 billion, Europe contributed $127.6 billion and Greater China recorded $82.4 billion.

Apple Reports Higher Profit and Research Spending

Alongside record sales, Apple reported net income of $30.7 billion for the September quarter, compared with $27.5 billion in the same period last year.

Operating income increased to $35.6 billion from $32.4 billion, while gross profit rose to $54.8 billion from $48.3 billion.

Research and development spending also increased considerably, reaching $11.7 billion for the quarter compared with $8.9 billion a year earlier. For the full fiscal year, research and development expenses totalled $45.8 billion.

Apple’s annual net income climbed to $132.2 billion from $112 billion in fiscal 2025. Diluted earnings per share increased to $8.98 from $7.46.

The latest Apple Q4 2026 revenue figures therefore reflect growth in both sales and profitability, alongside increased investment in research and product development.

New Products Could Influence Apple’s Next Results

Apple introduced several new products in October, after the September quarter had already ended. Its latest lineup included updated MacBooks, a touchscreen MacBook Pro, an iPad mini with an OLED display and new smart home devices.

The company also began shipping the iPhone Duo in late October, alongside its iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max lineup.

Because these products were launched after the fiscal fourth quarter closed, their sales will appear in Apple’s upcoming financial results rather than the September figures.

CEO John Ternus described the quarter as a record period and highlighted strong iPhone performance and Services revenue. He also pointed to the new devices and Siri AI developments as important parts of Apple’s product strategy.

What to Expect From Apple’s Next Earnings Report

Apple’s record fiscal year provides a strong starting point for evaluating its upcoming performance. The next earnings report will offer a clearer view of demand for its recently launched products, particularly the new iPhones, MacBooks and smart home devices.

Investors will also be watching whether Services can maintain its growth and whether Mac sales continue to expand.

With annual revenue reaching $478.8 billion, Apple Q4 2026 revenue demonstrates the scale of the company’s latest financial performance. Its next results will show how effectively the new product lineup can sustain that momentum.
