Princess Kate writes heartfelt letter to Evelina London as Prince William reflects on family’s cancer journey.

Princess Kate, the Princess of Wales, has written an emotional personal letter to Evelina London Children’s Hospital on the occasion of its 20th anniversary, expressing her admiration and support for the hospital’s work with children and families facing medical challenges.

In her message, penned in her capacity as the hospital’s patron since 2018, Princess Kate celebrated the milestone and praised the hospital’s comforting environment.

“As Patron of Evelina, I’m delighted to join everyone at Evelina London Children’s Hospital in celebrating the 20th anniversary of its iconic hospital building,” she wrote.

She continued, “As I know from my visits, the building’s bright, welcoming spaces and wonderful light-filled atrium ensure children feel safe, supported, and nurtured as they face whatever challenges lie ahead.”

Her heartfelt message comes shortly after Prince William spoke publicly about how the couple discussed Princess Kate’s cancer diagnosis with their three children.

In an interview with Brazilian television, the Prince of Wales shared that they chose honesty and openness when addressing their children’s emotions during this difficult time.

“Every family goes through difficult times and faces challenges together. How you deal with those moments makes all the difference,” William said.

He added, “We decided to tell our children everything — both the good news and the bad. We explain to them why certain things happen and why they might feel upset.”

The Princess’s touching letter and the Prince’s candid reflections highlight the royal couple’s resilience and their commitment to compassion, transparency, and family unity through adversity.
