Rumours about Mawra Hocane’s pregnancy began circulating over the weekend after the actor, who tied the knot with Ameer Gilani earlier this year, was spotted at a store launch event in a green flowy outfit. Fans speculated she was hiding a baby bump.
However, the Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2 star quickly dismissed the chatter. Sharing photos from her official shoot in the same outfit on Instagram, Mawra clarified:
“The rumours are NOT true.”
She humorously added, “Let me enjoy my ‘dum naal dum bharan gi’ era,” referencing the trending track Ranjheya Ve.
Alongside addressing the speculation, the actor made a heartfelt request for people to stop resharing false rumours.
Mawra married fellow actor and long-time friend Ameer Gilani on February 5, 2025. Sharing their wedding pictures at the time, she captioned: “In the middle of chaos… I found you. BISMILLAH.”
