The price of gold in Pakistan continued its upward trajectory on Saturday, marking the fifth consecutive hike in as many days, in line with global market trends.
In the local market, the price of 24-karat gold per tola jumped by a significant Rs2,200, reaching Rs282,700, according to data from the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold saw an increase of Rs1,857, bringing it to Rs242,370. The consistent rise in gold prices is reflective of global market fluctuations, which have been influencing local market trends.
