On Thursday, Nadeem secured Pakistan’s first-ever individual Olympic gold medal in javelin, marking the country’s inaugural gold in a track and field discipline at the Olympics.
The National Assembly’s resolution, tabled by Law Minister Azam Nazir Tarar, was adopted unanimously. It applauds Nadeem’s achievement and notes that despite limited resources, his dedication and skill led to this remarkable success. The resolution also calls for Nadeem to be awarded a civil honor in recognition of his exceptional performance.
