Recording of iconic song ‘Jazba-e-Junoon’ revealed to be in a bathroom.

Ali Azmat, the renowned Pakistani singer and former lead vocalist of the band Junoon, revealed that the iconic song ‘Jazba-e-Junoon’ was originally recorded in a bathroom. Azmat disclosed that the recording took place in the bathroom of a poorly equipped studio located at Karachi’s Tariq Road. The studio had limited resources, and the makeshift setup involved covering the bathroom walls with cardboard to improve acoustics. Despite the challenging conditions, ‘Jazba-e-Junoon’ became a massive hit, especially during the 1996 cricket World Cup, and remains one of the most celebrated tracks in Pakistani music history.
