Islamabad (APP) – Mushaal Hussein Mullick, Special Assistant to the Caretaker Prime Minister on Human Rights and Women Empowerment, voiced deep concern on Tuesday regarding the ongoing reign of terror inflicted by Indian forces upon innocent Kashmiri Muslims in Indian-occupied Kashmir.
In an interview with a private news channel, she urged international powers and UN agencies not to remain silent observers of the escalating tragedies faced by Palestinians and Kashmiris. Mushaal emphasized the need for these entities to raise their voices against the atrocities inflicted on Kashmiris.
Highlighting the importance of dialogue, she called on the Modi-led BJP government to refrain from implementing undemocratic, unconstitutional, and cruel policies. She stressed that dialogue is the only path toward a just and lasting resolution of the Kashmir issue.
Mushaal urged world powers to utilize their influence to halt Israeli and Indian aggression, expressing concern over the credibility of the United Nations. She underscored the international community’s responsibility to alleviate the suffering of the Kashmiri people and support their fundamental right to self-determination.
Responding to a question, she noted the resilience of the people in Indian-Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), emphasizing their unwavering stance against India. Despite facing bullets, Kashmiris continue their peaceful protests to garner international attention and resolve the long-standing dispute.
Mushaal asserted that the people of IIOJK are committed to seeing the ongoing resistance movement through to its logical conclusion.
