Hollywood actor and filmmaker Mel Gibson and his longtime partner, screenwriter Rosalind Ross, have officially confirmed their separation.
The couple, aged 69 and 35 respectively, reportedly parted ways quietly nearly a year ago. Despite the split, they have agreed to continue co-parenting their eight-year-old son, Lars Gerard, who was born in Los Angeles in 2017 when Gibson was 60.
Gibson, a father of nine, has seven children from his previous marriage to Robyn Moore. Rosalind Ross, mother of his ninth child, was Gibson’s third known partner.
