Pakistan’s Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Foreign Affairs, Tariq Fatemi, held discussions with prominent US Congress members to enhance bilateral relations.
During his visit, Fatemi met with House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Brian Mast, South and Central Asia Subcommittee Ranking Member Sydney Kamlager-Dove, and Pakistan Caucus Co-Chairs Jack Bergman and Tom Suozzi. The meetings centered on strengthening Pak-US cooperation in trade, investment, and economic development.
Fatemi highlighted Pakistan’s economic priorities and reiterated the government’s commitment to expanding ties with the US. Both sides also exchanged views on regional and international matters, expressing optimism about further collaboration.
The engagement reflects Pakistan’s continued efforts to foster closer diplomatic and economic ties with the United States.
