Former Prime Minister Imran Khan has filed a petition with the Lahore High Court (LHC) requesting bail in eight cases linked to the 9 May incidents, including the Jinnah House attack.
The petition asserts that Khan was in NAB custody in Islamabad at the time of the events and claims his implication in these cases is politically motivated. It further states that he has been entangled in these legal proceedings for two years as a victim of alleged political victimization.
Khan’s plea seeks the LHC’s intervention to grant bail in all eight cases and order his release.
Previously, the Lahore Anti-Terrorism Court had denied bail in these matters. Notably, Imran Khan faces charges in 12 cases related to the 9 May events in Lahore, with bail already granted in four of them.
