According to the preliminary report by the DIG Technical Services, it has been revealed that individuals addicted to narcotics were responsible for severing the supports of the billboard. This reckless act resulted in the billboard collapsing and causing the unfortunate accident.

The report states that legal proceedings have been initiated against the individuals involved in the consumption of narcotics. It has also been uncovered that these addicts had stolen motors from the billboards to extract copper wiring for their addiction-related needs.

Mayor Karachi, Murtaza Wahab, has issued directives for the law enforcement officials and relevant personnel to take strict actions against such individuals. This incident highlights the severity of the situation, urging law enforcement to tackle this issue with utmost seriousness.
