There is a likelihood that Nawaz Sharif will make his return to Pakistan on October 15th.

According to reliable sources, Nawaz Sharif, the leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), is expected to return to Pakistan on October 15th, as per discussions within the family. Initially, there were reports suggesting a mid-September return, but this changed due to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) announcing that elections could not take place within 90 days.

The delay in Nawaz’s return to mid-October is attributed not only to the ECP announcement but also to advice from party loyalists, who suggested that September’s hot weather may not be conducive to large-scale political gatherings. Instead, mid-October was considered a better time.

This decision came after discussions between Nawaz Sharif, Shehbaz Sharif, and other family members in London. The exact return date may still be subject to further discussions.

The advice to wait until mid-September, specifically for the retirement of the current Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Umar Atta Bandial, remains prominent within the PML-N. Nawaz has criticized the judiciary, accusing it of favoring the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) and Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Nawaz Sharif has been abroad for several months for medical treatment, with his family alleging an attempt to poison him during his imprisonment in Pakistan.
