Omar Ayub named leader of opposition in Pakistan’s national assembly.

On Tuesday, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) Omar Ayub was appointed as the leader of the opposition in the National Assembly, as announced by Speaker Ayaz Sadiq. Following the declaration, a formal notification was issued, and Omar Ayub assumed his responsibilities in the chamber.

Prior to his appointment, Umar Ayub met with Speaker Ayaz Sadiq, who confirmed his designation as the opposition leader.

Expressing gratitude for the confidence placed in him, Omar Ayub extended his thanks to the PTI founder and other party leaders for their support in entrusting him with the leadership role in the National Assembly.
