Opposition Parties Included in Federal Cabinet After Consultations

Following consultations on the formation of the federal cabinet, it has been decided to include the United National Movement, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), and Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) in the federal cabinet.

According to reports, after consultations regarding the federal cabinet, it has been decided that Shah Mehmood Qureshi will be appointed as the Foreign Minister, Ata Tarar will be given the Ministry of Law, and Abdullah Tarar will be appointed as the Minister of Information.

There is a possibility that Abdul Aleem Khan of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf could also be included in the new cabinet, while it was decided during the consultations that the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) would be given two ministries in the federal cabinet.

There is a possibility of Jalil Abbas Jilani, Mohsin Naqvi, and Shamsad Akhtar being included in the federal cabinet.

It is said that Khawaja Asif will be given the Ministry of Defence and Masood Malik will be given the Ministry of Petroleum, while Ameer Maqam is also likely to be included in the cabinet.

In the new federal cabinet, Shazia Fatima Khawaja will handle the Ministry of Information and Technology, Mohammad Aurangzeb will be responsible for the Ministry of Finance, and former caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab Mohsin Naqvi will handle the Ministry of Interior.

According to sources, Tariq Fatemi will be appointed as Special Assistant for Foreign Affairs and Ahad Cheema will be appointed as Advisor for Establishment, while Jam Kamal and Chaudhry Salik will also be included in the federal cabinet.

It is said that the new federal cabinet may take the oath on Monday.
