During the hearing, the court acknowledged the appeal from Chairman PTI, stating that the notification issued by the Ministry of Law on November 15, following cabinet approval, marked the execution of Section 352 for the trial in jail. However, it was asserted that this procedure did not align with the outlined legal process.

The Election Commission’s notice to PTI was rooted in the party’s failure to conduct intra-party elections, a process mandated by the party’s constitution. PTI had faced a similar inquiry on September 13, and the Election Commission had reserved its decision at that time.

She mentioned that Zardari’s statement finds validation in the PML-N’s endorsement, and the party remains committed to a fair electoral process.

Today, the Islamabad High Court will conduct hearings for Imran Khan and Nawaz Sharif’s cases. The legal proceedings will play a pivotal role in shaping the future for these political leaders. Simultaneously, the Supreme Judicial Council will convene to assess requests and allegations against Justice Sardar Tariq and Justice Mazhar Ali Akbar Naqvi.
