According to reports, only three federal ministers from the PTI cabinet have been named as witnesses in the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) case. These ministers include Pervez Khattak, Nadeem Afzal Chan, and Zubeida Jalal. Their statements are collectively documented on a single page.

Maryam Nawaz further emphasized the need for accountability, stating that it should be a two-way process. She criticized those who had fabricated false cases against Nawaz Sharif and remarked that he was paying the price for his actions.

The PTI spokesperson accused the Sharif family of being vocal about their innocence while being deeply involved in embezzlement for decades. According to the PTI, Nawaz Sharif’s dealings and assurances are a compilation of dubious agreements and guarantees rather than a legitimate defense.

Sources reveal that a meeting between PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif and PPP Patron-in-Chief Asif Ali Zardari took place. The meeting, held at Shehbaz Sharif’s residence in Model Town, Lahore, included the presence of Rana Sanaullah and Ayaz Sadiq from PML-N, while Aon Chaudhry represented the PPP.

On the other hand, sources indicate that a meeting took place between the President of the PML-N, Shehbaz Sharif, and the Patron-in-Chief of the PPP, Asif Ali Zardari. The meeting occurred at Shehbaz Sharif’s residence in Model Town, Lahore. Rana Sanaullah and Ayaz Sadiq were also present from the PML-N side, while Aon Chaudhry represented the PPP.

Highlighting the induction of an inexperienced individual into governance, Sharif remarked that the person in question had no understanding of economics or society. He sarcastically suggested putting such individuals in jail and questioned the whereabouts of those who had once advocated for putting him behind bars.

The PTI representative went on to claim that Nawaz Sharif’s self-proclaimed success in overcoming economic challenges is nothing more than a bundle of deals and assurances. The party criticized Sharif’s use of the National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) and various other legal concessions, asserting that such maneuvers do not absolve him of alleged financial wrongdoings.

Saad Rafique further highlighted the commitment made by Nawaz Sharif on October 21 to navigate the country out of crises. He reaffirmed that the PML-N has successfully steered the country through challenges in the past and is ready to do so again, asserting their unwavering commitment to the nation.
