In light of the Supreme Court’s decision, the Election Commission has reinstated the training of Returning Officers (ROs) and District Returning Officers (DROs). ROs and DROs training is scheduled for December 17-18 and December 19, respectively.

Chief Justice Aamer Farooq remarked that Wajid Zia himself stated that he had no proof of ownership, and the case relied on assumptions, asserting that punishment cannot be based on assumptions alone.
