It has been reported that during these four months, NAB received a total of 41 complaints related to corruption across various government departments in the province. Unfortunately, a significant number of these complaints revolve around the healthcare sector and, more specifically, various hospitals within the province.

According to the notification, monthly consumers using 25 to 90 cubic meters of gas, classified under the “protected” category, will not experience any price increments. However, fixed charges for protected consumers have been raised from Rs. 10 to Rs. 400.

The Federal Information Minister was joined at the briefing by other members of the Federal Cabinet, including Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed, Health Minister Dr. Nadeem Jan, and National Heritage Minister Jamal Shah, among others.

In his dissenting note spanning 27 pages, Justice Manzoor Ali Shah points out that the NAB law is equally applicable to all institutions, including military officers and members of the judiciary. He argues that after parliamentary approval of the amendments, NAB law should take precedence, ensuring that no one is above the law.
