The Pakistani government’s effective response to illegal activities, akin to tax evasion, through a crackdown has contributed to a substantial upswing in the currency. The report emphasizes that the government’s actions against illegal practices have been instrumental in achieving a notable improvement in the currency, particularly in September and October.

In response to the recent arrest of Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Barrister Gohar Khan demanded that the Supreme Court take suo-motu notice of Shah Mahmood Qureshi’s arrest, urging the court to ensure the safety and security of PTI workers.

Shahbaz Sharif argued that the Peshawar High Court’s decision regarding the Election Commission’s authority is equivalent to an attack on the commission’s powers. He called on the entire nation to expect justice from the judiciary, stressing that justice should be impartial and not tilt the balance in favor of any specific party.

He reminded the audience that while moving towards burying the politics of hatred and division, PTI needs to first acknowledge and repent for its past mistakes. Bhutto asserted that the PPP wants to see the past mistakes corrected, but this requires the PTI to seek forgiveness and make amends.
