Pakistan Stands in Solidarity with Palestine: A Call for Global Action

In a passionate address, Siraj ul Haq, the leader of the Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, announced a petition signed by one million Pakistanis to urge the United Nations Secretary-General and the UN to take immediate action against Israeli terrorists. He warned that if Israel’s aggression isn’t curbed, the world might witness a catastrophic third world war. Haq emphasized the need for practical measures to rescue Gaza, urging Islamic leaders not to wait for Gaza to turn into a graveyard.

Haq criticized the silence and impartiality of the world leaders, particularly the United States, towards Israel’s atrocities. He stated that if leaders don’t act justly, it would imply support for Israel and America. Haq declared a boycott of Israeli products and pledged support for Palestinian Muslims and Hamas fighters. The rally, attended by leaders such as Asadullah Bhutto, Sabir Abu Maryam, Allama Baqir Zaidi, Junaid Bari, Islam Bhati, Islam Khan, Mahmoud Hameed, and Younis Sohan Advocate, resonated with similar sentiments.

Siraj ul Haq announced that Iran and Saudi Arabia have initiated communication regarding Palestine, urging other nations to follow suit. He appealed to Prime Minister Imran Khan to prioritize Palestine over China, asserting that it’s time to save Beit-ul-Muqaddas and Masjid al-Aqsa. Haq even addressed Pakistan’s Army Chief, urging him to become a Salahuddin Ayyubi or a Mahmud Ghaznavi in the current circumstances.

Mohammad Hussain Mahanti voiced the sentiment that Pakistan has shown its allegiance to Palestine, emphasizing that America and Israel are bound to face defeat. He acknowledged the mothers of Palestine, who are sacrificing their children daily, and highlighted the need for Muslim leaders to awaken and act. Despite Gaza’s 16 years of siege and daily bombings, the Palestinian people, especially mothers, sisters, and youth, remain steadfast.

Siraj ul Haq concluded by urging Pakistan’s rulers to align themselves with the emotions of the Muslim Ummah, emphasizing the need for the government and the army chief to play their roles effectively. Hafiz Naeem ul Rehman added that Muslim rulers who merely talk about the Palestinian cause are traitors. He urged the army chief to convey to the entire Muslim Ummah that if an attack occurs on Palestine, Pakistan stands with its Muslim brothers and sisters. The rally demonstrated the deep-rooted solidarity of Pakistan’s citizens with the people of Palestine, calling for global action to end the injustices faced by the Palestinian Muslims.
