Ahmedabad: The Pakistan Men’s cricket team arrived in Ahmedabad on Wednesday via a chartered plane from Hyderabad, gearing up for the much-anticipated ICC World Cup 2023 clash against India, scheduled for October 14 at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
Today, the Pakistan team will take a well-deserved rest before hitting the nets tomorrow for a two-day training session in preparation for the India game.
Details reveal that Pakistan’s World Cup-bound contingent will engage in a rigorous practice session from 6 PM to 9 PM local time on Thursday (tomorrow), following their arrival in Ahmedabad via a chartered flight.
On Friday, they will continue their training from 2 PM to 5 PM, focusing on various aspects of the game, including batting, bowling, and fielding drills, to enhance their preparations for the highly anticipated ICC World Cup 2023 showdown.
The Green Shirts began their World Cup campaign on a positive note, securing a resounding 81-run victory over the Netherlands at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.
In their second match, played against Sri Lanka, Pakistan achieved a historic milestone by successfully chasing the highest target in the history of the World Cup. This remarkable feat was made possible thanks to the outstanding centuries scored by Abdullah Shafique and Mohammad Rizwan.
