Cement prices in Pakistan for September 2025 show only slight variations across major brands, even as devastating floods disrupt construction projects, increase transport challenges, and raise input costs. Despite these pressures, the cement market has maintained stability, with prices ranging between Rs. 1,380 and Rs. 1,430 per bag.
Brand-Wise Cement Prices (September 2025)
- Cherat Cement, Falcon Cement, Flaying Pakistan – Rs. 1,380
- Askari Cement, Kohat Cement – Rs. 1,390
- DG Khan Cement, Fauji Cement, Lucky Cement, Pioneer – Rs. 1,400
- BestWay Cement – Rs. 1,410
- Maple Leaf Cement – Rs. 1,430 (highest among all brands)
Most brands remain close to the Rs. 1,400 benchmark, underscoring a competitive and clustered pricing trend. Cherat, Falcon, and Flaying Pakistan stand out as budget-friendly options, while Maple Leaf Cement continues to position itself as the premium choice.
Market Stability Amid Challenges
Although floods have slowed construction activity and increased transport costs, cement producers have largely avoided sharp price hikes. Industry experts say the narrow pricing band reflects both strong competition and customer resistance to steep increases.
Sales Growth Trends
While pricing remains stable, growth momentum in sales slowed in August 2025 compared to July. According to industry data:
- August 2025 sales: 3.097 million tonnes (+10.33% YoY vs. 2.807 million tonnes in Aug 2024)
- Exports: 749,723 tonnes (+22.13% YoY)
In contrast, July 2025 had posted stronger gains, with domestic consumption up 18.61% and exports soaring 84% compared to July 2024.
Outlook
Analysts expect cement demand to remain subdued in the short term as floods continue to impact construction projects nationwide. However, stable prices suggest manufacturers are prioritizing market share over sudden increases, with only select brands like BestWay and Maple Leaf carving out premium positions.
