Indian business magnate Anand Mahindra has called for Bollywood’s king, Shah Rukh Khan, to be designated as a “natural resource” of India.
According to reports in the Indian media, Anand Mahindra expressed that it’s high time Shah Rukh Khan is recognized as a national asset.
He further stated that all countries around the world preserve and utilize their natural and mineral resources to earn revenue.
Anand Mahindra remarked that perhaps it’s time to declare Shah Rukh Khan as a “natural resource.”
In response to the appreciative comments from the Indian business tycoon, Shah Rukh Khan expressed his gratitude and mentioned that his endeavor is to make the nation proud through his cinematic contributions.
He also emphasized that he is not limited to the film industry as a natural resource and sent warm regards to Anand Mahindra.
Previously, renowned filmmaker SS Rajamouli also praised the success of “Jawaan” on its very first day and attributed it to Shah Rukh Khan, saying that it is because of individuals like him that Shah Rukh Khan is the king of Bollywood.
He further commented that this is just the beginning of what the film “Jawaan” is capable of achieving, congratulating Shah Rukh Khan on the massive success of the film.
The film “Jawaan” has stormed the Bollywood box office, earning 127 crores in India and a whopping 235 crores worldwide within its initial two days. In this film, Shah Rukh Khan stars alongside Kangana Ranaut, Neen Tara, and Vijay Sethupathi in pivotal roles.
