Mr. Tareen convened a meeting with prominent party leaders, where the influential figures from the Independent Power Producers (IPP) emphasized issues aligned with the party’s agenda and future strategy. During this gathering, Mr. Tareen articulated, “The IPP is committed to formulating a comprehensive strategy aimed at extricating the country from its current crisis.”
He further pledged, “We will authentically represent the interests of the masses. The IPP will enthusiastically participate in the upcoming general elections, steadfastly adhering to our party manifesto.”
Among the notable attendees at the meeting were distinguished individuals such as Saeed Akbar Nawani, Mohammad Shah Khagga, Ishaq Khan Khakwani, and Awn Chaudhry.
Last month, Mr. Tareen’s team distributed essential relief supplies to flood victims in the Jhok Janan area of Punjab. IPP leaders, including Nazir Baloch and Kainat Raza, oversaw the distribution of rations, shelters, and vital relief materials to those affected by the floods. Local party leaders, Nadeem Khan Ghallu and Malik Shahnawaz Kaliyar, were also present on this occasion.
Mr. Tareen’s spokesperson confirmed that further relief aid would be dispatched to other flood-affected regions in the coming days. He reassured the flood victims of the IPP’s unwavering commitment to providing full support during these challenging times.
