The inaugural Overseas Pakistanis Convention is scheduled to be held in Islamabad from April 13 to 15, 2025, in collaboration between the Government of Pakistan and the Overseas Pakistanis Foundation.
Attendees of the convention will be honored with the status of state guests, and special arrangements are being put in place to warmly welcome them at airports across the country.
Acting on the special directive of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the government is working with a strong commitment to ensure that Pakistanis living abroad feel a deep connection to their homeland.
Officials emphasize that this convention is more than just a gathering—it represents a national pledge to acknowledge and appreciate the contributions of overseas Pakistanis who have served abroad for years.
The primary aim of the convention is to welcome expatriates back home, hear their concerns, and incorporate their valuable insights into future policymaking.
