Bushra Bibi, the wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, issued a video message on Thursday, calling on party workers and supporters to participate in the upcoming protest scheduled for November 24.
Labeling it as a “do-or-die” demonstration against the government, the former first lady emphasized that the date of the protest would remain unchanged unless directed otherwise by Imran Khan. She urged lawyers, judges, and PTI supporters to join the protest and asserted that it would be held in line with Pakistan’s law and Constitution.
In her video, shared via PTI’s official X handle, Bushra Bibi stated:
“PTI founder has sent a message that everyone should join the November 24 protest. The date will not be changed under any condition.”
Bushra Bibi also spoke about the challenges faced by her family, claiming that propaganda against them began after their visit to Madinah in Saudi Arabia. She alleged that former Army Chief Qamar Javed Bajwa received calls criticizing Imran Khan, describing him as “unacceptable” to certain factions. She further mentioned that these events were followed by her character assassination and accusations against Imran Khan of being a “Jewish agent.”
The November 24 protest is anticipated to be a pivotal moment for PTI as the party continues its campaign against the current government.
