Finance minister aurangzeb departs for U.S. to attend IMF and world bank annual meetings.

Federal Minister of Finance and Revenue, Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, left for the United States on Sunday to participate in the annual meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank (WB), according to a statement from the finance ministry.

During the visit, Aurangzeb will meet with senior officials from the IMF and World Bank, as well as his counterparts from China, the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Turkey. He will also hold discussions with top officials from the U.S. State and Treasury Departments, global credit rating agencies, and Middle Eastern investment banks.

In addition to these meetings, the minister will address investment forums and seminars to present Pakistan’s economic outlook. He will also engage with renowned U.S. think tanks and selected international and American media representatives during his visit.
