KP CM Ali Amin Gandapur vows to lead PTI protest at D-Chowk despite arrest threats.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur declared on Friday that he would reach Islamabad’s D-Chowk to lead a protest despite the heightened threat of arrest of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers by the government. Speaking to the media before his departure to Islamabad, Gandapur emphasized that PTI workers would press forward regardless of the challenges, backing down only if instructed by party founder Imran Khan.

“I urge all workers to arrive at D-Chowk for ‘Haqeeqi Azadi’ (true freedom). We will continue to fight for the protection and restoration of the constitution,” he stated.

In a related development, the Peshawar High Court (PHC) granted Gandapur transitory bail in two cases until October 25. The bail, heard by PHC Chief Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim, allows Gandapur to avoid arrest, with instructions to present his defense before the relevant courts afterward.
