Nawaz Sharif defers London trip amid pending constitutional amendment bill.

Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader Mian Nawaz Sharif has postponed his trip to London, primarily due to the unresolved status of the recently proposed constitutional amendment bill.

Sources had indicated that the former prime minister was expected to leave for London this week. However, his departure has been delayed and is now contingent on the passage of the constitutional amendment package by parliament.

Once the bill is passed, Nawaz Sharif will travel to London for a medical check-up and stay for several days before heading to the United States. Initially, he was expected to leave between October 3-5.
