On Thursday, the price of 24 karat gold witnessed a notable decrease. The price of per tola (11.66 grams) of 24 karat gold fell by Rs2,300, bringing it down to Rs250,500 from Rs252,800 on the last trading day. Similarly, the price for 10 grams of 24 karat gold dropped by Rs1,972, settling at Rs214,763 from Rs216,735. The price of 10 grams of 22 karat gold also saw a reduction, decreasing to Rs196,866 from Rs198,674, according to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.
In the silver market, the price of per tola silver decreased by Rs60, now priced at Rs2,860. The price for ten grams of silver fell by Rs51.44, coming down to Rs2,451.98.
On the international front, the price of gold decreased by $43, moving from $2,413 to $2,370.
