In a tragic turn of events during an intelligence-based operation, terrorists launched a deadly attack on law enforcement officers. The assailants opened fire on the police team, resulting in the martyrdom of Senior Police Officer SP Ijaz Khan. Additionally, three Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) – Naseem Khan, Mansoor, and Saleem – suffered injuries in the assault. Prompt response teams, comprising police and rescue personnel, were deployed to the scene to manage the aftermath. The injured DSPs, Naseem Khan, Mansoor, and Saleem, are currently receiving medical attention. Law enforcement authorities confirmed that two terrorists, including Mohsin Qadir, were neutralized in the subsequent exchange of fire. The funeral prayer for the fallen officer, Ijaz Khan, took place in Police Lines, honoring his sacrifice in the line of duty.
