The spokesperson of the Election Commission has announced that re-polling at six polling stations in NA-43 Tank and Dera Ismail Khan will now take place on February 19.
Previously scheduled for February 17, the re-polling at these stations has been rescheduled. The polling hours are set from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Candidates including Asad Mahmood, the son of Maulana Fazlur Rehman, are contesting from this constituency.
The vacant seat in NA-207 arose following Asif Zardari’s successful election from the same constituency, which became vacant upon his assumption of the presidency. Asifa Bhutto Zardari was nominated by the Pakistan People’s Party to fill the void left by her father’s transition to the presidency.
