Preliminary Election Results Begin to Emerge from Various Constituencies in Karachi

As the polling concludes, the process of counting votes and announcing results has commenced in Karachi, mirroring the nationwide electoral activity. Initial results from several constituencies provide insights into the early trends of the elections.

In NA-248, out of 361 polling stations, preliminary unofficial results indicate that Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, the head of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan, leads with 859 votes, while independent candidate Arsalan Khalid follows closely with 569 votes.

In NA-246 Karachi West 3, results from 291 polling stations show independent candidate Malik Muhammad Aarif Awan leading with 376 votes, followed by Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman of Jamaat-e-Islami with 172 votes.

Similarly, in NA-245 Karachi 1, preliminary results from 256 polling stations indicate that Syed Hafizuddin of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan is ahead with 170 votes, while independent candidate Ataullah follows with 119 votes.

In NA-232 Karachi Korangi 3, out of 270 polling stations, preliminary unofficial results reveal that independent candidate Adeel Ahmed is leading with 437 votes, followed by Tofeeq-ud-Din Siddiqui of Jamaat-e-Islami with 215 votes.

In NA-244 Karachi West 1, preliminary results from 129 polling stations show Dr. Muhammad Farooq Sattar of MQM Pakistan leading with 151 votes, while Zameer Hussain of Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan follows with 31 votes.

These initial results provide a glimpse into the electoral landscape of Karachi, with various political parties and independent candidates vying for victory in their respective constituencies.
