Bilawal Bhutto lamented the unfortunate reality of prominent leaders being assassinated, emphasizing the necessity to rediscover and embrace Pakistan’s rich history and culture. He called for a resurgence in 2024, urging the acknowledgment and promotion of all languages alongside Urdu. According to Bilawal, the empowerment of citizens to speak their local languages is crucial to fostering a sense of ownership, asserting that Pakistan cannot progress if it suppresses its poetry, artists, and culture.
The PPP Chairman discussed the successful curbing of extremist ideologies in Sindh, attributing it to the promotion of cultural values. Discussing climate change, Bilawal highlighted the vulnerability of areas under the influence of the South and North Poles. He warned of the impending dangers of glaciers melting, leading to floods and water scarcity. The regions beneath the Himalayas, home to many Pakistanis, are particularly at risk.
