Apple set to launch upgraded MacBook Air and iPads in early 2024.

In an effort to revitalize declining sales, Apple is reportedly planning the release of new models, including a faster MacBook Air and two updated iPads, early next year. According to sources familiar with the matter, the new iPad Air will introduce two sizes, and the Pro model will feature OLED screens. The MacBook Air is expected to be equipped with the speedier M3 processor designed in-house.

Facing consecutive quarters of sales decline for Macs and iPads, which constitute nearly 15% of its revenue, Apple aims to address market challenges. The company’s holiday-quarter sales forecast fell below Wall Street estimates due to weakened demand for iPads and wearables. The new models, including the upgraded MacBook Air and iPads, are anticipated to launch around the end of March, with additional enhancements to Apple Pencil and Magic Keyboard accessories for the Pro model. Apple has not yet responded to requests for comment on the reports.
