In a tragic incident, a police constable, identified as Sharifuddin, was fatally shot in a crowded bazaar in the Tank district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Tuesday. The assailants, who remain unidentified, targeted Constable Sharifuddin near the grid station as he was on his way to duty.
After the shooting, the suspects managed to escape the scene, leaving the constable dead. Rescue officials later transported the body to the DHQ hospital. In response to the incident, the police arrived at the location, cordoning off the area for investigation.
Authorities are actively collecting evidence, and raids are underway to apprehend the individuals responsible for the heinous act. The motive behind the attack remains under investigation as the community mourns the loss of the police constable.
