A somber incident occurred during the ‘Caravan of Nawaz Sharif,’ a procession of people traveling from Karachi to welcome the former Prime Minister, as a PML-N (Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz) party worker, identified as Karamat, tragically passed away.
According to PML-N leader Muhammad Zubair, the party worker, Karamat, experienced a sudden deterioration in his health while aboard the train near the Mehrabpur Junction. Despite immediate efforts to assist him, the unfortunate event resulted in Karamat’s passing.
The deceased, Karamat, was a resident of Shahbaz Goth Super Highway in Karachi. His body was transported to Karachi through an ambulance to allow for the necessary arrangements.
It is important to note that former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, after a self-imposed exile of four years, returned to Pakistan today. He arrived at Lahore, where he is expected to address a public rally, marking a significant moment in the country’s political landscape. However, this tragic incident during the journey from Karachi serves as a poignant reminder of the challenges and uncertainties that can arise during such political events.
